Gutter Cleaning Service
Protect your home with professional gutter cleaning services designed to prevent costly damage and keep water flowing properly. Gutters play a critical role in directing rainwater away from your roof, siding, foundation, and landscaping. When leaves, twigs, and debris build up in the gutters, they disrupt the natural flow of water. This can lead to foundation issues, roof damage, siding stains, and erosion around your home. Our gutter cleaning service removes all debris from your gutters and downspouts to ensure that the water drains where it’s supposed to!
There are many different ways to clean gutters ranging from quick, cheap, and easy to more labor intensive methods. The way that they are cleaned is dependent on the current condition of the gutter system, as well as the customer's needs. The Property Groomers value getting the job done right.
Our Gutter Cleaning Process
If your gutters are full of dry leaves and debris, hand blowing is a quick and easy method of cleaning. This is a good option, as long as the customer does not mind the debris on the ground. We recommend doing this in fall before the yard is cleaned up.
Hand scooping into a pail is generally necessary if the debris in your gutters is wet and mucky. This is a slower process, but it ensures that debris does not end up on the siding of your home or in the yard. If the eavestroughs are full of debris and water, the use of a sponge will help to get it down the downspout.
Running a ball valve on the end of a pressure washing hose creates a bit of a mess, but it is extremely thorough. If the circumstances are right, this process will get the job done.
We guarantee clear downspouts at the end of every job, as this is key to a properly functioning gutter system. Verification begins by dropping a wire nut into the top of the downspout.
Using the hand blower, we will follow the wire nut with a burst of air and if it comes out of the other end, we can declare that particular downspout clear.
The use of a sewer rod may be necessary if downspout verification fails and a burst of air will not free the clog. In this process we will snake the downspout using a sewer rod, accompanied by forced air. If the clog persists, then a couple of last resort methods, such as disassembling or using the pressure washer, will do it!
